About Wet Floor

We understand the business behind the revenue.

Wet Floor Accounting was built for owners who want an accountant involved in the business—not somebody who appears once a year to file a return.

Why we exist

Accounting had become too difficult to use.

Founders can see orders, ad spend and bank balances every day, then wait months for the accounts to explain whether the business actually made money. Wet Floor takes a different approach: keep the records current, make the important numbers visible and talk about decisions while there is still time to change them.

We are young entrepreneurs too. We understand the pressure behind stock orders, platform changes, customer acquisition, irregular payouts and the temptation to reinvest every pound. That commercial context shapes the questions we ask and the way we explain the answer.

Built for the way modern revenue arrives.

Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Stripe, PayPal, subscriptions, sponsorships and client retainers all create different records. We begin by understanding the route from customer to bank, the direct costs behind it and the decisions the owner is trying to make. That gives bookkeeping, reporting and tax work a common starting point.

Ecommerce and creator businesses are areas we know particularly well, but they are not a narrow front door. Limited companies, sole traders, agencies, consultants and other UK businesses can use the same assessment. The model matters because it changes the work; the label never decides whether we will listen.

Straight talking is part of the service.

You should know what a number means, why it moved and what needs doing next. We avoid corporate language, unexplained reports and technical walls of text. Where an issue is genuinely complex, we show the reasoning and limits rather than pretend there is a one-line answer.

Meet Jack

My background and why I built Wet Floor.

Jack introduces himself and the experience behind Wet Floor Accounting.

Jack’s experience

Built from the owner’s side of the conversation.

Jack’s experience with modern, digital-first businesses shapes a service that connects reliable compliance with the decisions owners are making now. The starting point is always how money moves through the business, where the pressure sits and what the numbers need to make clearer.

That perspective is why Wet Floor focuses on useful reporting, clear responsibilities and advice delivered without the corporate language. Jack can update this section in Dev Mode as his story, experience and the firm continue to grow.
