Information, not personal advice

Website articles, FAQs and videos provide general UK accounting and tax information at the date stated. They are not personal tax, accounting, legal, investment or financial advice. Rules and guidance change, and an outcome can depend on facts not covered on the website. Do not rely on public content as the sole basis for a filing, payment or business decision, or delay obtaining advice about your own circumstances.

Enquiries and client relationships

Read our firm details and engagement summary for professional information, insurance disclosures and the service complaints procedure. The full terms for paid work will be supplied before engagement.

Please provide accurate information and do not send bank details, identity documents or confidential records through the public assessment. Submitting an enquiry does not oblige either side to proceed and does not create an accountant-client relationship. A relationship starts only when required checks are complete and both sides accept the scope, responsibilities, price and engagement terms.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, submit unlawful or abusive material, scrape protected areas or use the service to infringe another person's rights. We may restrict access or preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to protect the service or investigate misuse.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care when preparing public content but do not promise that every page will always be complete, current or error-free. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website without notice. Access can be interrupted by maintenance, network issues or events outside our control.

Links to services such as GOV.UK and TikTok are provided for context and convenience. Those services control their own content, availability, terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse every statement or service on the destination website.

Unless stated otherwise, the site design, branding, video material and written content belong to Wet Floor Accounting or its licensors. You may view the pages and share links for lawful personal or business reference. You must not copy, republish, sell, alter or commercially exploit site content without permission or another lawful basis.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on general website content instead of obtaining advice on the relevant facts, or for loss caused by third-party services outside our control. Any liability arising from paid client work is governed by the separate engagement terms.

Privacy and accessibility

Our privacy notice explains how the website handles personal information, and our cookie notice covers browser storage. If a disability makes the site or enquiry process difficult to use, see our accessibility information and contact us so we can discuss a reasonable alternative.
