Client engagement and terms of business
An enquiry is a request to talk, not a contract for accountancy work. We review the business, confirm the checks needed and agree a written engagement before starting. The engagement letter and attached terms identify the contracting parties, the services included and excluded, who supplies and approves information, deadlines, fees, payment arrangements and any VAT.
Those documents also explain confidentiality, data handling, use of third-party software, any agreed limits of liability that are lawful, termination, complaints and any rights to cancel that apply. There is no automatic subscription or payment through this website. You can ask questions and obtain the terms in a durable form before deciding whether to proceed.
You remain responsible for supplying complete, accurate records and approving filings where required. Changes to the scope or price must be agreed. General website information does not replace advice based on your circumstances.
Service complaints
Email info@wetflooraccounting.co.uk with “Service complaint” in the subject, or write to the registered office. Tell us what happened, relevant dates and the outcome you seek. A director or authorised senior team member will review the complaint; where practical, someone not directly involved in the matter will handle it.
We aim to acknowledge service complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days. If investigation takes longer, we will explain why and give an updated timetable. We will explain our findings, any proposed remedy and the applicable escalation route. This process does not restrict your legal rights.
