Cookies & browser storage

Your choice, kept simple.

The public website uses browser storage for your preference and, only if you agree, first-party analytics. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tags.

Strictly necessary storage

Analytics preference

wfa_analytics_consent_v1 is stored in local storage after you accept or reject analytics. It remembers your choice for up to six months so the site does not ask on every visit. This preference storage is necessary to provide the choice you requested.

Administrator security

wfa_admin_session holds the opaque login session; wfa_admin_challenge holds a temporary login or recovery challenge; wfa_tiktok_oauth binds a requested TikTok connection callback to the initiating browser. No password or authenticator secret is stored in these cookies.

The protected administrator area uses secure, HTTP-only cookies for a login session and short-lived security challenges. The main session lasts for up to eight hours; login, password, two-factor and TikTok connection challenges normally last for up to ten minutes. These are necessary to authenticate authorised users and are not used to measure public browsing.

Optional analytics storage

If you select “Accept analytics”, the site uses the following first-party browser storage:

These items let the site count consented visits and understand pages, clicks, form stages and video engagement. They are not shared with advertising networks.

Accepting, rejecting or changing your mind

“Reject non-essential” leaves analytics switched off. “Accept analytics” turns it on. Both choices are available with the same number of actions. You can reopen the control at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics, removes the analytics identifiers from that browser and asks the website to delete analytics linked to the previous identifier.

External links and videos

TikTok cover images are served from this website's storage. TikTok is not contacted merely because a video card appears. “Watch video” opens a consent prompt. Only “Allow TikTok and play” loads the embedded player, which may use TikTok cookies or similar technology; “Not now” does not load it. This choice is separate from analytics and is not remembered across page loads. “Close TikTok player” removes the embed and stops its connection but cannot erase cookies already set by TikTok; use your browser’s storage controls for that. A direct link to TikTok or another external service is handled under that provider's own privacy and cookie information.
